“Extreme Makeover Home Edition ~The Hurston Family ~Episode 817” Aired February 13, 2011
It was such an honor to have my photo picked for this house being built by the Extreme Makeover Home Edition team. The Extreme Makeover team contacted the photography club that I was a member of. They were searching for photos that represented water. The photo below is the one I selected from my collection for consideration. I was so honored to have this image selected by the Extreme Makeover Home Edition design team to be displayed over the fireplace in the house of The Hurston Family. The team enlarged the photo onto a 4 ft x 5ft canvas print.
Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard, INC.
In November 2012, I was honored when the Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard, Inc. chose this photo to hang at the Maxwell C. King for the Performing Arts in the King Center Harris Gallery for the “All That Art photo exhibition” for a month. This photo is very special to me. I took it a month after my mother lost her battle against breast cancer. The hands are of my son and daughter. My daughter is wearing a breast cancer awareness bracelet. I had them hold hands to symbolize “Together We Can Make A Difference”

My digital art piece titled “Mysterious Protector in the Woods” was published in the magazine “Living the Photo Artistic Life ~ Issue 44 Oct 2018”. My piece can be found on page 062. I feel so honored to have been published along with so many talented artists. This is a magazine that is published monthly to showcase the works of artists from around the world.
