Birth of “No Wimpy Girls Photography” Blog
In 2011, my girlfriend wanted to start a blog together with another girlfriend. The idea was to post one photo a week for 52 weeks and to comment on each other’s photos. Comments from others was always welcome. That was the birth of “No Wimpy Girls Photography I”. You are probably wondering how we came up with the name “No Wimpy Girls Photography”. At the time my son was reading the books “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. Anyway, we started out using Blogger. We enjoyed blogging together on “No Wimpy Girls Photography I” blog that we decided to continue. Each one of us takes turns setting up the blog. We almost completed our 7th year. It is a great way to keep in touch and share our passion. You can read about the reasons why I enjoy doing a 52 week photo project and blog with my friends.
Birth of BecTPhotography blog
During the first year of blogging with my friends I decided to start my own personal blog using Blogger, BecTPhotography. I blogged on Blogger for about a year.

In the fall of 2012, I quit writing on my BecTPhotography blog (with Blogger) and decided to start one with WordPress/ProPhoto in the plan to start my own photography business selling my fine art prints online. It has been a slow process getting it off the ground. I have learned a lot along the way, thanks to the community of women at ClickinMoms. Oh I cannot forget to thank my kids for introducing me to Instagram. Instagram is another wonderful community of talented creatives that has also help me along my creative journey.
What a wonderful adventure it has been and still is.
