Fascination with Water Droplets ~ Natures Sparkling Gems
Not sure why but I have a fascination with water droplets found in nature. Especially after a rain or foggy morning. To me it is a photographer’s dream when it rains because it leaves behind these sparkling gems called droplets all over the plants. Each drop is very unique, in my opinion, like snowflakes. The droplet or droplets are like their own little world. As a result, I never get tired of taking a photo of a droplet or droplets.
Quotes/Poems on Droplets
Another thing I like is quotes/poems that speak to me. So, I thought it would be fun to attach a quote/poem to each photo I took of droplets. Did a little bit of research on the internet to locate some quotes/poems about water droplets. During my search I found some quotes/poems by famous poets and philosophers who eloquently wrote about water droplets. Some of the folks I had heard of some I have not heard of before. Anyway, I found their quotes/poems accompanied my photographs perfectly. The photos below were taken with a Nikon D300s and macro 105mm lens on a cloudy day after a hard shower. I took most of the photos while walking around my backyard.
